Ryou is one of Rokkaku's best Singles player. He had attended some local high school back in Chiba, but decided to transfer to Tokyo in his second year for reasons yet unknown (Nah, not really. It’s mostly because he misses his brother).

Known for his poker face as much as his long hair and cap, many people think he's a no nonsense guy but he can have his inane, dorky moments too. He's often cool, smart and cynical, but he can also be overly sensitive sometimes, especially if it concerns Atsushi... and his hair.
